| Adult Anger Management - Adult Anger Management is an eight-week series for adults to learn how to regain their personal power in times of conflict and stress. Learn what your anger buttons are and explore healthy ways to release anger and cope with high stress situations. This series is not intended for domestic violence dynamics and DOES NOT meet the requirements of the Alternatives to Domestic Assault (ADA) standards. |

| Family to Family
– Family to Family is a statewide initiative committed to the
recruitment of new foster families, providing education for birth and
foster parents and encouraging a safe and stable environment for those
children in need of foster care. Currently, CARE serves families in the
Clinton Township, Warren and Roseville communities by providing information, resources and
educational programs. The staff oversees Family Resource
Networks, a collection of city collaboratives comprised of local human service
agencies and community members who meet regularly. Family to Family is funded by the Macomb County Department of Human

| Supervised Parenting Program
- CARE works with Macomb County Friend of the Court to provide supervision of parenting time for families ordered by the 16th Circuit Court Family Division. Services include supervised visits between parent and child, and supervised transfers of children between parents. Participating families must be court-ordered to use these services, and be referred through their Friend of the Court parenting time officer. |

| Greater Macomb Project Vox
-
Greater Macomb Project Vox, or Voice of Recovery, is a grass roots
effort organized to educate society on the disease of alcoholism and
other drug addiction; reduce the stigma attached to the disease and
advocate for adequate treatment for those suffering from the disease.
Members include people in long term recovery and those affected by
other’s drug dependency.

| Great Parents Great Start
– The
Macomb Intermediate School District provides funding to offer free
parent education to families of young children. The State of Michigan
Initiative, Great Parents Great Start, focuses on the healthy emotional
and physical develop of young children by offering parents the
opportunity to learn skills and strategies that build self worth,
problem solving skills and acceptable discipline methods.

| MCFARES -- Macomb County Fetal
Alcohol Resources, Education, and Support Coalition – MCFARES is a
collaborative that works to provide education, support and resources on
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

| Michigan Prison Re-entry Initiative (MPRI)– CARE works with Macomb County MPRI to provide skill-building workshops to offenders who are re-entering the community. Programs take place within the Macomb Regional Correctional Facility and at MORE House Transitional Housing. Workshop topics include Life SKills, Managing Anger, and Family Relationships. The mission of MPRI is to reduce crime and enhance public safety by implementing a seamless system of services for offenders from teh time of their entry to prison through their transitions, community reintegration and aftercare in the communities. |

| Michigan Rehabilitation Services –
CARE provides support services to those customers of Michigan
Rehabilitation Services who have experienced difficulties because of the
problematic use of alcohol and/or other drugs. Case management,
assessment and referral for treatment and support groups offer
assistance to those entering the workforce but who still may have a need
for ongoing substance abuse services. |

| Safe Macomb – This collaborative,
comprised of the Traffic Safety Association of Macomb County, CARE,
Turning Point, Inc., the Macomb Chapter of Michigan Safe Kids and the
Macomb Intermediate School District focuses on promoting safety by
preventing intentional and unintentional injuries in our homes,
workplaces, streets and schools. A Summer Safety Fest is held annually
at Metropolitan Beach. |

| SMILE – Start Making it Livable for
Everyone – CARE, in collaboration with the 16th Circuit Court Family
Division and the Macomb County Friend of the Court, provides a monthly
program for parents who are involved in divorce proceedings. The purpose
of the session is to remind parents that children can be negatively
impacted by the divorce of their parents. An overview of the court
process, Friend of the Court and suggestions on making it “livable” for
everyone are given. |
