| Alcohol, Tobacco &
other Drugs presentations |
| Alcohol, tobacco &
other drugs presentations are available to schools, churches,
and other community organizations in southern Macomb County
(south of Hall Rd.) Presentations to adult groups focus on
current drug trends and mentoring drug-free youth. CARE’s public
information specialist offers presentations and series focused
on life skills and age-appropriate drug education to elementary
students. Presentations to middle-school and high-school
students focus on chemical awareness—current drugs & their
consequences; dynamics of addiction as well as chemical

Prenatal Alcohol & Drug Exposure presentations |
| Fetal Alcohol
Spectrum Disorders (FASD) is the leading cause of birth defects
in the US today and it is 100% preventable. CARE’s FASD
Prevention Specialist presents to high school and college
students, community groups, and professionals. CARE works with
a local coalition to help support parents raising an individual

Parenting Presentations |
| CARE’s parent
educators deliver one-time presentations on specific topics
related to fostering better familial relationships. Topics range
from encouraging positive goals in children to substance use
prevention. Target audiences are parent groups, community
agencies, and school/child-care professionals. Presentations can

Older Adult programs |
| Older adults are faced with more
adjustments as time passes. These challenges in relationships and
situations can result in increased stress, depression, loneliness,
anxiety, and health problems. CARE supports older adults and provides
workable strategies to prevent and treat mental health, alcohol, tobacco
and other drug concerns. CARE offers presentations to older adult groups
